These might not look _too_ out of place behind a 56 or 60 either, possibly?

Perhaps, I'm not quite sure if they have been hauled by a 60 or 56 though.

I notice on the AP site, that there is a branding patch for those who want to add some realistic names to these wagons, i assume that one of them is Hanson for the blue/white wagons, and possibly Amey Roadstone for the yellow ones, any ideas folks what the others are, please ??

Hadn't noticed the patch, thanks for that. The yellow ones are ARC, blue/white is naturally Hanson and the grey ones are Brett. There's also an unbranded wagon in the pack as well.

Class 56s left the Mendip area a little too early to haul the JHAs. There may have been a brief crossover, but not much, especially given the fact ARC's 59s were bought around the same time as the wagons, and were a replacement for the hired in 56s
As for class 60s....

http://joalder.smugmug.com/Trains/Class ... Z&lb=1&s=A
http://joalder.smugmug.com/Trains/Class ... z&lb=1&s=A
All in the last 18 months or so. These days a 60 will tend to work to the Mendips for a day or two then go again, like the 66s do.
Perhaps of use to scenario makers, whichever loco works to Allington, Hothfield or Ardingly (dependant on the day) in the morning and then back to Hither Green, will then tend to work 6V18 to Whatley. This is what happened to last Monday with 60011.

I'd just like to add my thanks to Tanski and Richard for this great and well priced wagon pack.

Hi,

The pdf is not too clear.

I notice the ARC and Hnason JHA's have inner and outer wagons. Does this mean they need to be run in pairs?

Also whats the difference between JHA-A and JHA-L. I notice the Bretts don't have inner and outer's.

Thanks Ron

Sorry that wasn't cleared up in the manual Ron. Basically, the outer wagons go on each end of a rake (usually 18 JHAs) with inners sandwiching them.

In regard to how the JHA-A & JHA-L differ, hopefully the screenshots show that they're actually completely different wagons but just happen to share the same JHA designation. :)

Thanks for the screenshot, JB, that answers my question nicely. Will have to add these wagons to my AP rolling stock stable in the near future.

Ahh... If I had inner and outter - then copied about 18 times would that produce any weird problems?

Thanks,

It shouldn't do JW, but please note that the inner has 2 buckeyes for couplers, whereas the outer has 1 chain and 1 buckeye for its own couplers, so it might not couple together.

Hope that helps. :)
