Forum Colour Layout.

Post by Solder »

I do apologise if this is not the right forum for my question but i couldn't find any obvious forum for my question.

Is it possible for an individual to change the way the colour of the forum layout looks so it's easier on my eyesight? For instance, i would much prefer to be looking at a Black background with White lettering rather than the default White background with Black lettering as i find this forum very difficult to read? I saw someone do this once on a different website forum so i just wondered if i personally could do it on this forum.

If it is possible could you please provide a link to how it's done.

Thankyou.

You can change the background by going into User Control Panel and then into Board Preferences.

Thankyou btvboxer, i went for the darksunblue background, so much easier on my eyes & so much more relaxing, before i felt like i was being interrogated, hence my post count.

Now all i need to do is suss out how to get my new background when i visit the forums without constantly having to login, i've checked the log in automatically box for when i visit the site but after i log out again i get the white background when i next visit the website. I guess the automatic bit doesn't work for me for now, never mind I'll suss it.

Thankyou.

I've checked your profile and the board style is still set for darksunblue.

When you are logged in next, bookmark the site. Don't log out when you leave the forums. When you next visit the forum, click on the bookmark. You should then get the darksunblue style, if not let us know.

It's the way I've always done it, without any problems!
You don't show up in the list of registered users when you aren't on the website.
You're offline at the moment, the list shows
... railermad, superdrive1, TElsmore...
but no Solder!
