London - Brighton Problem

Post by 96tommy »

I have just donwloaded the London - Brighton Route and when I open it, it says can't find the Class 377 consists and the scenery is in white/grey tiles?

What do I need to do, I have deleted the blueprint cache and the settings are at highest, I also tried it on hard. TSX is also on.

Try doing a cache verification, in case of a dodgy download. Or reboot, could be as simple as low memory.

A clear blueprint cache has fixed the blue grey tiles for me on other routes.

I have the same 2 issues. Clearing the blueprint cache did not help, while verifying the steam cache reported 13 files which needed to be reacquired. That was an hour ago, and the problem still persists. How can I tell if the 13 files have been re-downloaded?

I have cleared my cache and verified and still have the same problem? Anything else I can do?

I have a similar problem in that I keep getting SPAD'd for no apparent reason - then I noticed that I am missing 90% of the signals!!

Yep - same thing here. There is a distinct lack of signalage! Is there a keyboard key to activate the cruise control with?

Did you CLEAR after you verified?
I had no signals but a quick Clear cache did the trick
Have you contacted RSC Support? They will no doubt be able to help you better!

Got another problem now, I cliked un-install to try and re-install it again but now it won't download again. I have also deleted the 'Brighton Main Line' folder in the Assets section. Any ideas?

As is often said, verifying the game cache will replace any missing or deleted files.

It certainly isn't the game cache as that button was "greyed out", but doing the Steam verify at the moment.

You can't clear the cache after launching the game. You need to close the Railworks launch screen first and then re-launch it from Steam, the Clear Cache button will then be available.

I don't know why RSC don't systematically tell people to clear the cache before launching the game, 9 times out of 10 it clears the problem.

Hi have also just brought this route also facing the same problems ie no scenery and no class 377 (no folder exists in the assets directory).
I have also cleared the caches and verified the game cache files (all files correct) but problems still exist must be a steam problem.
