RSDL Class 66 & 37

The release of the S & C route threw my long term stock aquirement strategy into a bit of confusion. I had previously bought via Steam the 66 & following the install of David Hossack's excellent reskins was contemplating the 37 next.
Would I now be better off getting the S & C with its 2012 compatible models particularly the 37 & 66 ? Please educate me if you feel I've missed a trick with my revised approach.
