Re: FB Announcement
Let the speculation begin, you have got to love those cryptic messages from RSC on farcebook!
"Young boys in the park jumpers for goalposts, that's what football is all about."
Re: FB Announcement
I'd guess it is the new US route they've been showing hints about

Re: FB Announcement
I love all these comments on it about London to Brighton, quite annoying mind! You would think they would realise RSC release products on a Thursday!
It has to be something they haven't mentioned, unless of course they are announcing the US route - that will no doubt create fury on their page! Sticking with the US theme it could be the long awaited Donner Pass upgrade (for those that took the plunge and bought it!)
Another thing, is where they announcing it, Facebook, Twitter or even their website.
Could it be this years Railworks 4? They announced it around the same time last year!

Re: FB Announcement
My list of "ooh what could it be" is remarkably like the one I made last year. It started with bug fixes and terrain mesh size.
Maybe its the Electrostar

Re: FB Announcement
I echo that one comment saying simply "Class 92
I wish".
I would love to be wizzing one of those beasts up and down on WCML-N.
But I expect it'll be the announcement of the US route.

Re: FB Announcement
Be a annoucenment of announcement of a product which will be 6months-1year away, it'll be the best thing they ever created, perfectly simulated, run flawless from download and it'll be praised to the high heavens.
In other news, the eurozone has recovered from economical crisis and I'm typing this from a laptop in my 100ft yacht sailing in the carribean sipping a cocktail.
Oh how I wish reality wasn't so cruel.

Re: FB Announcement
My guess is something far less exciting, I'm afraid - given the proximity of the Jubilee and given that RSC things are usually released (always maybe even?) on a Thursday I'd put good money on it being the 67 + Royal coaches

Re: FB Announcement
RSC already have the 67 release details up on their website. £4.99 on Thursday.johnmckenzie wrote:My guess is something far less exciting, I'm afraid - given the proximity of the Jubilee and given that RSC things are usually released (always maybe even?) on a Thursday I'd put good money on it being the 67 + Royal coaches

Re: FB Announcement
I don't understand why people get so excited. Do they not remember RSC's watch out for something big coming. It was money off a few items over 4 days. All that hype from FB'ers about what it could be only leads to disapointment for many. It seems to be the modern thing to drop a vague hint and watch people froth over what it might be. I'm too long in the tooth for that. Better to know nothing and be pleasently suprised by a new release

Re: FB Announcement
Yeah, generally I would rather people would just announce something rather than announce that they will imminently be announcing something

Also, I think they use to see what people want from them. A good way for marketing and get a good idea of what SOME users would like to see!

Re: FB Announcement
Its marketing. They get a big rush of people all suddenly interested in something. Good news for them. And yes, I reckon they do probably take a note of any common themes seen in the response.
