TMI Martin.

Enjoy whilst it lasts - this is our summer. We have just had the wettest drought ever so why expect the summer to be any good ?
Kindest regards

Good morning everyone
I took Emma a walk in the park at 5am and it was a respectable 12 degrees
Kind regards Stephen

Was a rather ridiculous 27 degrees when I went to bed last night - had the windows open all evening, but no through draft to cool anything down.

Don't know what I'd do if the temperature hit the 80s! 30 is pretty much my maximum. I feel sorry for those of you experiencing near boiling weather rather than just the hot stuff we've got down here :-)

Make the most of it, cause it's guaranteed to rain the bank holiday weekend!

I'm just glad it's going to be dry this weekend. We're taking our touring 'bike, a BMW K1200LT, down to Redruth for our first visit since I graduated with a Masters from the Camborne School of Mines in 1995. It's going to be interesting to see how much has changed in all those years, one being the School which has moved from Pool to become part of the new university at Penzance.

Was not impressed yesterday. Did a driver change on a bus, and I was to be on the bus for 4 hours. Not only was the bus like a greenhouse as the windows don't let much air in, I did a check of the bus at a terminus to discover that the air vents in the passenger saloons were pumping out hot air, despite the bus showing an outside temperature of 30ºC.

Hoping for a slightly cooler afternoon today; though the BBC say it will be topping at 26º so I'm not getting my hopes up!

Even less impressed today - my bus had been sat in the yard all day, in the blazing sunshine, with all the windows closed. Would have been interesting to take a thermometer with me; the top deck was like an oven!

A fortune to be made by the person who can work out how to store the excess summer heat and use it in the winter :D
