It's the logo for the Jubilee, apparerntly some competition ran for kids to design the logo and it has been shoved on every Jubilee related thing... Let's hope the steaming type of Jubilee isn't touched...
Thanks, although I was being a touch facetious ;)

Talking of 'upgrades' .... is there likely to be one for the RSDL/Class 66s for those that don't want to purchase SettleCarlisle?

That is only known by RSC... Although at the time of writing, the only product bundled with a route in TS2012 glory that also have an update announced for the separate standalone DLC, is the Dash 9...

With regard to the RSC class 67 DLC, I personally believe RSC will be missing a trick if they don't update the 'original' package to TS2012 standards. Otherwise Just Trains will be the only publisher to provide a fully compatible TS2012 product.

If the class 67 Jubilee DLC get an update and the 'original' class 67 does not, I would think many users who supported RSC upon release will be pretty miffed.

I've spotted one glitch they haven't fixed in the 67 Jubilee pack - the edges of the control panels still glow bright white in direct TS2012 sunlight. That's a real shame - they could have fixed that one.

And the 170 and 380. And then if you look at the non-bundled UK stock you have the 450, 56XX, 390, ICE, 150, King, 455 and Class 50. I'm just hoping RSC intend to continue updating stock rather than adopting a new approach of only supplying updated stock in new packs. Until that's clarified I think quite a few people have completely stopped buying from RSC, myself included.

I'm with you on that one JB. Totally agree. I feel that RSC are forgetting thier long serving customers, having been with Rail Simulator right bakc at the start, they seem to just keep appealing to new customers rather than keeping us interested. A real shame I think. Still. The MK2/3s look good and I would love them to be a free upgrade, but I so highly doubt that RSC would do that. It'll be like the NSE Class 47 Addon, priced £2.99 or £11.99, which would be a stupid price, like the S&C Steam Specials (Don't even getme started on that).

Agree with JB upto a point,if this is RSC's policy of squeezing more money out of loyal customers then all I will do is limit myself to a max of 25 squid per month on dlc, if something is more expensive then it waits for 2 months, days are gone now RSC when I impulse purchased, and remember that budget may not necessarily be spent on your products! :-?

I really hope they update the rest of the 67 pack, but I won't hold my breath!

I have both Class 67-s - RSC & JT one. I clearly prefer JustTrains 67. It's a very nice model with much better functionality. RSC has to work hard to get they model technically at least to the same level. But from the other side JustTrains 67 has much weaker soundset. I have modified JT soundset so that engine sounds (both outer and inner) have been replaced by RSC ones and loco rolling sound has been taken from Oovee 57 model. Plus added fading effects and all sound levels balanced now. Inner and outer sounds are different. If You are interested I can upload the proxyxml files. It really makes difference. I already changed Thomson Class 170 soundset - added fading effects, balanced cab sounds.

Wouldn't it be amazing if a thread about a new product could just be about that new product without being hijacked with the "I Hate RSC" comments at every opportunity? It's nearly every thread now.

I've spoken to a lot of people recently, people who were really community focused but are now completely disillusioned, and it isn't because of what RSC do, don't do, won't do or haven't done.

Oh, and I didn't read anywhere that the original 67 pack wasn't being updated, I must have missed that..........
