SBHH Error

Post by forest147 »

Good Evening Folks

Could anyone shed some light on an error that has shown up in logmate, after a sbhh error at load up of a scenario

[Content 19:29:40] Trace cNetworkRibbon.cpp : 1976 = Ribbon not found while loading curves, are all network files in synch? Ribbon ID :{00000000-0000-0000-0000000000000000}

Is there anyway to fix this.

Many Thanks

I don't know whether this has any bearing on your problem but, I have found since changeing from a Intel Core 2 Duo CPU using Windows 7 32 bit to the one in my sig. I don't get as many SBHH as I use too.

The actual fault, that caused the fatal software crash (or as mandatory text-speak here will have it: SBHH) is in my experience unlikely to make it to logmate - because the process has terminated.

Software crashes come from 3 reasons mainly, sometimes in combination:

A. Software installation or programming error.
B. Error in the data processed.
C. Unsupported, insufficient or failing hardware.

Some may argue, that B really is a case of A, that should have detected erroneous data before they caused a fault.

Does it only happen at the start of that particular scenario?

Yep... The Armstrong Powerhouse Class 37 Pro scenario on the wcml

I've no idea what causes it as everything else runs great

That's where you/we/they should be looking then, it's a reasonable assumption to make that the fault lies within the scenario---can you enter the scenario through the editor to see if anything untoward shows up in 'timetabled view' ?

Do your class 37s all work OK?.... if it isn't the scenario itself it could be the stock---I'm straw clutching here as I haven't got the sound pack, but I'm thinking along the lines of getting as much information in an e-mail to AP to see if they can throw some light on it.

The logmate 'error' may be more of a notification than the cause of the SBHH, can you run the scenario through RW Tools?, and you DO have all the required assets to run the scenario don't you?

For the sake of completeness, run the scenario through RW Tools and see if that throws up any errors.

Run the route itself through RW Tools----do other scenarios work OK on it?
