The Just trains sound might be better than the AP sound
I'd guess AP would need to patch the sound for it to work on the new voyager anway.

The sounds were good on the class 67.

That's my £7 upgrade pre-ordered, used most of my points on my last purchases! Admittedly though I think those who say it's a bit steep at £20 have a fair point, I dread to think how much the next route's going to cost when you see that the record-breakingly short Bishop Auckland route is still selling for just over £20 despite the very obvious disapproval of a good proportion of loyal customers...

It's a shame that people who would normally be willing to part with their cash are finding themselves making a stand and actually not buying products they like the look of just because the seller has decided it's worth more than other products of the same quality / size / complexity.

For me it started with the ICE - £18 for an EMU when others sell for £12 is a bit cheeky, particularly when you consider that those who'd previously bought it weren't even getting a discount. Then Bishop Auckland to Darlington - can't say I want to encourage the idea of routes selling at over £1.50 per mile so again, no buy from me. And then the Settle Carlisle Specials... OK so the value is there if you don't already own the stock, but it leaves those who'd previously purchased the stock with outdated versions and leaves the community with two different versions of each loco. Again not something I want to see become mainstream so yet another no-buy. And all products I actually want to own... doesn't say much for the marketing techniques used does it?

I think the best way to sell DLC would be like VR do, so that you could buy assets from the route, the stock from it or the route, and a bundle is available for them all. But I wouldn't sell each reskin individually, just a Class as with the 170/455.

Yes I think paying for re-skins is naughty too, that is why I wont purchase them.

I will be getting the new Voyager because it is clearly heavily reworked and overhauled so will be like a new machine. Worth the investment. Similarly but conversely, RSC have failed to secure my cash with releases like the 4VEP because it's in no way different to the 4CIG. If they'd included upgraded sounds or a better quality cab or new features then it would have been a sale.

Good video, initial thoughts..... The cab is still way too loud... As in the engine drone is too much, it should be quite, like sitting in an empty church... Other than that small issue which I will no doubt sort out in the first 24hrs, it looks awesome, sounds good from the outside, and some good features.....

Yes I agree with Craig here. I've been in the cab of a XC voyager, a lovely driver let me in after making sure no one was looking, it's pretty much silent save for the beeping of the systems.

I've not been in a cab but have on many occasions had to stand in the vestibule due to overcrowding and the sounds seem very accurate from that perspective. Is there additional sound proofing in the cabs (in real life)?
