This is something that has bugged me for a while and tonight while trying to find scenarios/activitys for Scottish East Coast ML i thought i would mention this.
Take the IOW route as an example, you would expect to find all IOW scenarios/acts in a sub category called "IOW", however there is.....
"Scenario for the I.O.W "
"I.O.W Scenario"
"I.O.W"
Then there is the possibility of scenarios being placed into any of these categories...
"Activity"
"Scenario for RailWorks "
"Scenarios"
Its not just limited to scenarios! It also happens in the loco downloads ect.
There can be lots of peoples work that can get overlooked due to them being wrongly uploaded so it would be great if some sort of simplifaction could be implemented.
Thanks,
Andy.

Re: Simplifying The Download Library
It might be worth waiting to see what UKTS2 comes up with.
I note that the ability to add categories by users was removed some time ago & requests had to be made via the support desk.
I believe that Pete has, when notified, made some changes to file categories to simplify the structure somewhat.
