ENB Series...?
Hi,
FSX users should be familiar with this plugin : http://enbdev.com/index_en.html
I works on many games and I heard it could work on Ts2012, so I have too ask, does it? Most games just allow the user to drop the .dll and .ini file into the main directory, that doesn't seem to work, there is a plugin folder, I read that I should put the .dll in there, but that doesn't work either. It seems that this plugin isn't compatible with TS2012 but can any users clarify if they have used it or got it working?
Thanks,
Kev

Re: ENB Series...?
I've never tried it with TS2012 but it worked with the original Railsimulator game.
However I wasn't happy with the results so I uninstalled it.

Re: ENB Series...?
Oh ok, did you install it in the same way I mentioned or did you do it another way? (If you can remember of course
)
Thanks for the reply!

Re: ENB Series...?
I've had it working on TS2012, but it was before the most recent big update. IIRC all I did was drop the two files into the main RW directory.
Cheers,
Chris.

Re: ENB Series...?
Ha
I've actually got it working, I'm using my fsx settings and it looks fantastic! Everything is now properly lit by sunlight with darker shadows and the grass is way greener. I have the latest version also, I moved both files to the main directory and hit shift+f12 to enable/disable. Don't know what causes it to work or not work for some users, might be the type of plugin you've got. I noticed that some of the versions you can download didn't work in my FSX installation, so I got the fsx original version and it worked.
Thanks,
Kev

IrishRailGuy
Do you have a copy of your enbseries.ini file (the one you use in FSX) and a link to the dl of the original ENB files.
Are you using the the v0.075 GTA San Andreas version?
Did you use the simialr settings to those posted on Simforums by Nick Needham as he seems to have updated his settings for GEX Europe in 2009?
Thanks

Re: ENB Series...?
Hi Tom, here's some comparisons:

The top is standard tsx at max settings, the bottom with my HDR settings enabled, don't forget that it can all be edited, if you like desaturated or more saturated images that can be changed, along with dynamic bloom/contrast/shadowing etc.
Peter here's my .ini settings, which have been tweaked about from the original settings I had, you may want to reduce BrighteningLevel=34 to 30, I don't recall which version I used but the GTA versions seem to be the most common ones.
