A patch for the 56xx to correct the glowing texture issues on the loco and wagons, a general overhaul of the textures for the new TSX rendering engine, the adding of TS2012 features (rain on the windows, firebox glow, working glass gauge lamp, etc) and an extra option to permanently turn off the cylinder cocks blowing was sent to RSC "some time ago".
I'm afraid it's totally out of my hands when/if they decide to apply it.

Re: RS 56xx
Thanks for the update, is it something you can release or does it have to come from them.karma99 wrote:bdy26 wrote:Last seen wondering these parts with a nice looking railmotor under his arm![]()

Best loco out here, with all the realistic functions, and lamps etc.
thanks

Re: RS 56xx
I really hope that its released soon. Its a shame But I think it has to be updated through steam, as steam is the supplier of the download.

Re: RS 56xx
OK - let's add some weight to this thread in the hope that RSC will recognise the popularity of this loco and the desire for the update. All in favour?

Re: RS 56xx
Yep absolutely, but RSC have a history of getting 3rd party updates sent their way for release and then they just sit on them without release.
Perhaps a load of emails to support would be better?

A load of emails to support would be the difference between messages being read and messages not being read, I'd imagine...
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Re: RS 56xx
Just sent my email off to RSC, there is no excuse not to update products when you have the update sitting there already!. So if enough off us send RSC support a messsage then they might take a hint and get the updates out. What is most suprising to me is the fact is updates not being given a high priority surely sales would increase after an update?

Re: RS 56xx
Until RS.com do something about increasing communications about and visibility of updates / fixes, especially where these have already been supplied to them, I personally will not be buying any more DLC ...
Re: RS 56xx
I read the book Abergavenny Monmouth Road to Maindee Junction by John Hodge at the moment and the TS2012 patch for the 56XX would be very welcome RSC!
