SC 158 Destination Board

Post by pjt1974 »

For the life of me I've tried changing the destination blind to the 158 that came with Settle and Carlisle.

There is no explantion in the route manual and I've tried following the instructions from the original 158 but to no success.

I'm inputting the following into the unit number in the scenario editor trying to get Leeds to show

___K57848158848

Any help would be appreciated

Phil

It is in the manual, page 6.

Its not like the other 158's, this is done "in-scenario" using N and Shift-N, similar to the 150, 156 etc.

Ah, cannot be done, similar to the other DLC mentioned above.

So how would we control these with the AP sound pack, as the N key is for the buzzer in the pack.

Don't use the AP keymapper and ignore the buzzer.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Please could someone adjust the keymapper of the destination board to something like M or C and release a patch?

You would have to edit the InputMappers - of which I cannot find. :-?

Input Mappers are usually in Kuju\RailSimulatorCore\InputMappers

Found it

I need a fresh copy (without Richard's sound pack) of the Class158_Expert mapper file from somebody (I really can't be bothered to verify cache) to do the mapper alteration, would anyone be kind enough to give me one? :)

Hiya,

This version of class 158 doesn't use any custom input mapper, I have choosed the N key to control the destinations precisely to avoid to add a new input mapper only to achieve a single feature. The N key controls the Blower in steamer locos, so this key and its controller are free in a diesel unit.

Regards.
