WSR Spring (More like summer) Steam Gala

Post by 67016 »

I thought I would just share some photos of the West Somerset Railway's Spring Steam Gala that I took yesterday. It was a fantastic day all round. The trains that I got rostered on where amazing. Stated off with 70000 Britannia on the 10:00 BL - MD then 3850 on the 12:00 MD - BL then the fun begun with 6960 Raveningham Hall + 6024 King Edward I on the 14:00 BL -MD and then I finished the day with 7828 Norton Manor + 6024 King Edward I on the 17:00 MD - BL

Great shots Kris! :D

Love the one of the Manor, King and Hall lined up.

I'll post some of mine up from yesterday later. What a scorcher of a day though!

Wow Great Photo's from everyone here! Gutted I missed it this year, just moved house so lot's to do at home!

My favourite one, scratched my head for 5 mins to decide:
Joe's of 1450 - just lots of clarity and a nice portrait Depth Of field.
With my Bias taking over - 67016 is the only one so far to picture the best engine *cough* 38 :D
Really like the triple western line up though, that's beautiful.
But, Ash, yours are splendid and lovely to look at, just think hmmm desktop image!

All nice contributions!

Well Didcot are planning a 47xx using parts from a 41xx, 28xx, and a 52xx... but it's not exactly an original 47xx.
