Where did you find that info from...? See if its here too?
Just look in your program files at the relevant folder. See what the file dates are.

Did the Granfield Branch get an update?
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Class 170 & E-G update...

Post by Redbusmatt »

No update for me yet?? Why can't Steam/RSC deliver to deadlines and try to keep their "Purchasing" public happy??

Starting to get disillusioned with this lot, if I did my job like this I would have been sacked by now :(

It may not be RSC's fault, they could have sent it to Steam today and it's waiting for Steam to release it.

Not saying that what it is, just an idea

Indeed, but reading this thread it does seem to have been released. I've not got it yet either.

I guess it could be one of those simple things whereby it gets rolled out across the network gradually.

I know for a fact that at work - emails sent to all staff take longer to get to me than to 4 of my immediate colleagues and I get it before another. Sometimes it is a very noticable delay. It's down to how the system works that it delivers in a strict order.

This is a "patch" update rather than a new product. Therefore why is anybody getting worked up about when it's out. You should simply be glad that it's being delivered & you don't have to do anything at all.

OK - keep your cool. Ranting here is not going to make the updates download to you any quicker and will ultimately draw the attention of the moderators.

You immediately finger Steam/RSC for the issue but what about your ISP ? Are you sure they are not throttling Steam downloads ?

It's not a matter of life or death so maybe just wait until tomorrow and see if it arrives.
Kindest regards

Total War Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai came out today too, this may well have led to a delay in the update being pushed out. Of course, just pure speculation, don't know the precise reasons.
