Hi All
I have just bought and Installed Woodhead but with every Scenario I try I get a SBHH so I checked out the Route with RW_Tools and the following Asset is Missing :-
C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Railworks\Assets\RSC\Woodhead\Scenery\Rock\Rock_Tun_Ent01.bin
Has anyone else got this Asset in their installation of Woodhead before I dig further into my SBHH problem.
Regards
Mike

I do not have that either. Missing assets will not cause a route to fail to load though - a corrupted asset might, I'm not sure.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Re: Woodhead - Missing Asset
This 'missing' file is required in three of the scenery .BIN files (-000002-000001, -000003-000001 and -000004-000001) having said that I have used Woodhead since day one without any SBHHs so it can't be that vital?
Hopefully Derek will read this and provide said file(s) for completeness

Re: Woodhead - Missing Asset
Suggest you verify cache if its causing every scenario to fail. Unless its corrupt, it should load but you should just get a milkbottle in game where the asset should be.

Re: Woodhead - Missing Asset
I doubt is the missing asset is causing your problem.
Verifying the game cache and deleting the blueprint cache are the first things to try but you could also try using the editor options from the menu pages to go straight into the scenario editor of one of the scenarios and then exit and try running that scenario again. This often works for the Broken Consist message and may also work for you in this situation.

Re: Woodhead - Missing Asset
Hi All
Thanks for your help so far.
I ran "Verify integrity of game cache" and it found 41 items which needed fixing - I then cleared the Blueprint Cache and then I went back into "Verify integrity of game cache" and it confirmed "All files successfully validated"
I then went back into Woodhead and all supplied Scenarios ran OK with the exception of "The North Country Continental" when I got the advice "Failed to create Vertex Buffer - File - DXCommon\cltcVertexManagerDx.cpp - Line151
I then got further advice :- The Instruction at "0x01a2fbb1" referenced memory could not be "read"
Could you please throw any light as to what this means.
Regards
Mike

Re: Woodhead - Missing Asset
Errors like the above always seems to suggest a lack of available RAM to me. This was always the case on my old PC since it only had 1GB.
Ideally you should have 4GB+ and not be running other applications (apart from Steam obviously) in the background that may use up memory if this problem occurs.
If you do have over 4GB but are running a 32-bit OS take a look here: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 4&t=120867
If both of the above do not apply to you, I would run logmate when trying to load a scenario and see what it throws up.

Re: Woodhead - Missing Asset
Well I am really "Scratching my Head" with my problem.
My Graphics Card is an ATI HD4850 512MB PCI-E which supports Vertex.
I have installed the very latest Drivers (12-2 xp32_dd_ccc)
I have 4GB of RAM installed
I have again reverified that all Files are successfully Validated yet I still get a SBHH with "The North Country Continental" Scenario and so I downloaded and Installed another Scenario "Empties T'Coal Hole" and I get a SBHH with this one as well. I Tried running with my Anti-Virus & Firewall turned off and it made no difference.
The last thing to try for me is try out John A posted SBHH and 32 Bit Operating Systems Topic by modifying the boot.ini file in my XP Home installation.
I am determined with all your help to get Woodhead working on my system perfectly.
As a matter of interest I bought and Installed WCML North today and it runs like a "Swiss Watch"
Regards
Mike
