2012 Sky Help

Post by Stone75 »

Hey,

I'm really struggling to find posts with regard to getting a RW 2012 updated sky to work with older routes. I'm almost certain i read something about it quite a while back but after trying all sorts of searches i can't seem to locate such a post.

Any help as always very much appreciated. Sorry for needing a post for this

Sorry to bring this up again. I'm not having much luck with this so feel im probably missing something. I copied the whole "skies section from woodhead over to and replaced what was in the B&E in route properties. However i still have Legacy clouds. Was there something else that needs moving across ? I don't want to guess as i really don't want to mess it up

look for the Time of day folder.

The New sky still has the old layers in, it's the new time of day and weather patterns that use the new layers.

Thanks for taking the time Derek, works fine now.

I was a little confused as the Bristol and exeter folder has the Bin files listed with a25_ i.e. a25_winter, with an XML file of the same name too. I can't see this naming convention elsewhere in routes. I changed the files copied over to have the same name and seems to be working fine :)
