GARL Error?

Post by brick60000 »

Not sure if this is in the right place...

On the Glasgow Airport Rail Link DLC pack, when I stop the train in the marked location, some of the doors don't open. Am I doing something wrong?

Is there any way to fix this at all?

I thought this was a 'feature' to simulate passengers pressing the button to open the doors, i.e. if no one presses the button the doors don't open, or are all the doors supposed to open every time?

Bearing in mind it's Scotland, often freezing and raining heavily (and that's the summer),I'd have thought the doors only opened on demand.

Yes, a passenger must press the button to open the door. At least on the 380s/156s/158s/170s I've been on in Scotland. Not sure about 334s/318s/314s though, never been on those

EDIT: However, I'm pretty sure that this might be an error, as if I am in a 2x4 car consist, it normally happens to the all the last 4 cars

Platforms seem quite glitchy in RW, on my route the doors refuse to open on the correct side of the track, only to open for a platform sevral metres away...

I wonder if they could make it open if you pressed the button?

Yeah, the invisible platform lofts under the station platforms don't stretch the full length of the platform. In particular at Paisley they don't stretch as far as the 4 car stop.

Meh, I'll get over it.

Is there a way to edit this in route builder?
