Well hey, I just can't wait to purchase it. Whether it's Q1, Q2 or off the QE2.

It looks stunning.

Peace! 8)

Gents,

The Light Pacific is in the hands of Just Trains, and I've been advised it will be released 'ASAP'. So watch out for it soon! I'm very pleased with how this one's turned out, we've finally mastered scripting, so we've added in one or two features, which will become standard on all new releases and updates, where applicable. You definitely won't be dissapointed!

Great to hear, JT as a publisher for you fellas is certainly a good move and certainly easier when it comes down to issuing any patches and you have a easy install method by the installers they use to and re-download should a users computer go ploin shaped all of a sudden, certainly be making a purchase once your/or JT says its out.

Looking forward to seeing what the RLP is like in TS2012 aswell as what advances you fellas have done since the 4MT and light pacific as of recent, good to see you getting back into your steam roots to DT.

You will have to wait awhile then for a Rebuilt Merchant Navy from DT, since they are releasing the rebuilt West Country/Battle of Britians rather than the merchant navy which is a bigger and more powerful locomotive.

I have most of DT's steam era DLC, I always found it very affordable and of course there were often discounts available. On the other hand JT always seem a little pricey to me, and sales or discounts not quite so attractive.
But those financial concerns apart it's good to see DT advancing and concentrating on steam era too.

Aye it is but, for now a rebuilt west country will do!! Still looks like it will make a fantastic addon loco!

Looking forward to these locos been waiting a long time they look very nice I wish there was more southern locos like M7,S15,T9,O2,700 and more would be nice if we had bullied coaces to go with them.

I read somewhere that the sounds and cab has been updated from the original unrebuilt version. Will it be possible to alias the rebuilt sounds and cab to the unrebuilt version.

Hope JT release it soon.

Can't help thinking that a rake of Pullmans (ala the Bournemouth Belle/Golden Arrow type) would look the bees knees behind this loco. Any coach builders out there?

DT Rebuilt Westcountry

There was a rumour of RSC doing a Clan Line and Pullman add-on, presumably authorised by VSOE. It would be a popular seller I'm sure.

The trouble with coaches I think is the amount of modelling work for 3 or 4 different versions compared with the price point isn't as good as a loco. The whole sim is over loco oriented IMHO, DT and Fastline are the only exceptions really on payware front.

Just Trains, Oovee and Making Tracks also offer rolling stock (as opposed to loco) packs. There is/was another developer (Mike something?) who had some rather nice looking LMS coaches for sale as well

Got a few drawings for Pullmans, but about a year away on my todo list. Would have to source some internal references as well.
