ChrisTrains NS Gbs wagon now available

Post by chrisell »

I've put my first product up for sale for Railworks - a Dutch Gbs freight wagon. It's $1.99 but if you use the coupon code FIRSTTEN and you're one of the first ten people, you'll get it for 99c.

More info here: http://www.christrains.com/ts2012_buy.html.

Updates and patches are free to registered owners.

Unlike the MSTS days, this time around my add-ons aren't free. I hope you all understand. It takes a considerable amount of time and effort to make the add-ons and I try to make them as high a quality as I can.

Let me know if you find any issue or problems and I'll try to sort them out as quickly as I can.

Nice price, even nicer with the discount. Too late to try it in RW, but will have a look tomorrow. Cheers Chris, nice to see you back.

I look forward to the day when the eurostar will be avaliable for railworks. The MSTS version was brilliant.

Please keep to your high standards and you can have my assurances that I will continue to support your work.

Kindest regards

After using your many creations during the MSTS days, great to have you back making stuff for RW. Grabbed it with the discount 65p - what a bargain!

Thanks and good luck with your future projects.

Also - the product now comes with a simple scenario set at the TestTrak to show off the wagons

Pitty one can only pay with credit card, I don't have one, so I can't buy it.

On Steam, I can pay my addons with iDeal.

Do you need a credit card? It looks like a standard paypal checkout to me - therefore if you have a paypal account you should be ok. For paypal you can add debit cards / credit cards & bank account directly to your account.

I've just purchased without a credit card.

Yes it's a standard PayPal checkout.
I'm exploring other options for payment but I can't accept iDeal directly because I don't have a Dutch bank account. The only options I can offer right now are like gswindale mentioned - link a bank account to a PayPal account, or maybe look at 3vcard.nl.
I'm also looking at Steam. :D

Thanks. I found a nice back-end delivery service that allows me to push updates out really easily. They take PayPal, Google Checkout and Alertpay. I'll be adding Google Checkout in the coming weeks but I'm going to stop short of AlertPay as they're still not that widely used.

Looks good, too bad I've already spent my Railworks 'budget' towers Bishop to Darlington for this month lol - Will you be packaging these with the NS2200 you're developing?

I'm probably going to be doing them all separately. However because I have a record of everyone who has the Gbs wagons, I'll be able to send them a discount code to grab other stuff cheaper :-)

There's still a possibility the NS2200 will come out via more official means but I'm struggling with sound for it at the moment because gathering data for an antique Dutch loco when you live in the US is pretty difficult. Well - that and I don't understand a blind thing about audio modification :)
