Falmouth Branch Career Scenario Problem

Post by Rockdoc2174 »

I'm having a niggly problem with The Little Things Count that makes the scenario practically impossible to play because it throws the timings way out. I can move the pannier onto the turntable and turn it but when I then take the engine to join its train it cannot pass cleanly over the second scissor-crossing nor the point into the siding where the trucks are. In each case, the engine rears up as if it has to climb over a block on the line, invariably losing me points via the accelerometer, and will derail at any speed above 3mph. If I come to these positions slowly the engine will come to a halt and can be made to go over the "obstruction" but it then accelerates at a ridiculous rate and the brakes have to be hauled on hard - going from about 2mph to 9mph instantaneously. I have the same problem with the point leaving the siding but not after the scissor crossing has been moved for the train to pass straight on.

I'd appreciate any advice on whether this can be corrected. Please be specific, though, because I've only recently bought the game and do not know my way around editing. I can't use the blueprint editor at all - should I need that - because the program cannot find mfc100u.dll, although it is present in my Windows folder.

Thanks,
Keith
