I downloaded your set of Mk3 coaches bit am having a slight problem that you may be able to help with. During the unzipping, several files appeared more than once (I'm guessing the same file name for each coach) but, since it was all going to one folder, only one was retained. Now, in the consist editor, regardless of ewhich coach I select (let's say the first class coach) I get a picture of the sleeper and that is what's added to my consist.
I think I may need to download each coach into its own folder but I'm not sure which files go with which coaches (except for the ones that refer specifically to a coach).
Can you help? The sleeper is excellent by the way and goes great with the Class 37.

Thanks

when you download the coach there should be four folders, a first class, buffet, standard, and sleeper. Put all four in your trains/trainset folder. Then make a consist. If they're all one folder the texture overwrites the old ones because it is the same filename for all four of the textures.
I downloaded the latest HST and didn't find anything wrong with the coaches that came with it. You should leave the folders as they are and just put them straight into the trains/trainset folder.

Indeed, try re-installing the coaches, and this time allow them to extract to the folder name provided. That way the ace files won't get overwritten.
The other problem with installing trains to non-default directories is if you download an activity later on, chances are the game will crash because the activity will look for the rolling stock in the default directory, won't find it, and crash.

James.

Thank you, it works perfectly. I've been trying my own naming conventions on downloads so that it would be easier to locate UK vs US stock but I guess that's not such a good idea.

Could it be that they install to C:\ and create all the Program Files folders for you?

Think the virgin was done like that.
