Hopefully someone out there may be able to help me.I was wondering if anyone knows where i can find a download of the VTG (later Tiphook) Telescopic Hood Ferrywagon used for carrying steel coils,Tops code i believe is KIA/KIB.I used to have one in my download folder (just a plan blue version) but i cannot find the site where i downloaded it from.
Thank you very much there Mr Bilton. That is the one i used to have.....Perfect (Anyone want to try a repaint into the VTG Ferrywagon livery? Hint hint )
I downloaded and installed these, but I have a problem I haven't seen before. In game there are no wheels. I have had a look in Shape Viewer and they all appear OK, but when I click 'Animation' all the wheels have a peculiar (up & down & round & round) motion around the centre of each axle.
Anyone seen this before? Any idea on a solution?
PS. I also downloaded another set of hood wagons - repaints of the original wagon I beleieve - and get exactly the same problem.
Hi
We have had disappearing wheels before .... caused by extra brackets in the wag file.
I've had a look .... and the only thing I can see is there is no buffer section.
I'll have to get my MSTS re-started to test, in game, properly.
Cheers
Jon

Thanks for that. There is no obvious problem with the wag file. However, that would not explain the odd behaviour in Shape Viewer - I loaded *.s rather than *.wag. This behaviour also suggests no problem with Bin version, computer graphics spec, game settings etc. It seems to be an s file problem.
I inspected the *.s file (uncompressed) and noticed that the wheels have their own defined animation rather than relying on the MSTS built-in wheels11, wheels12 etc animation. I have no 3D program so I can't see what is going on, but I did copy over the animation part of another working wagon - no animation in Shape Viewer, but still no wheels in game.
Perhaps there was a fix at some point, but it is not included in the particular download above. I have googled for a fix, or a more up-to-date version, but no success.
