Mossend-Chirk Timber activity for Warrington Railways

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Mossend-Chirk Timber activity for Warrington Railways

Post by Laurie0236 »

Hi John

I downloaded the above activity today and after getting the stock, tried to run it. I had to make a substitute for 47747 file ID 1037 came up with a blank - not found.

I checked out the activity on Activity Analysis and after a few substitutions all was appaterntly OK.

When I tried to run the activity I got the message of death and MSTS shut down.

Anyone tried it, and waht did I do wrong. The previous activity for Warrington works OK.

Regards

Laurie

Laurie, I will be withdrawing this activity as other people have contacted me with similar problems. Looks like this one is a non runner.

There's a broken path. Can't remember which one, sorry. Something to do with CT....... I just changed the path for that service to south to north express and the activity runs.

Had another look.

The service with the problem is "CT 47747 Sheildmuir-Bristol" and the broken path is "CT Preston-Crewe".

I changed the path to "Wigan-Warrington South Fast" and the activity runs.

I hadn't and it's my model. You are quite right, sorry.

Rename BR_OTA.wag to OTA_RF.wag and it should be OK.

I will upload the wagon again shortly with the bug fixed.

Sorry to cause you problems,

Andy

Just to say that I had already corrected the OTA files, and the activity works just fine.

Amazing what a broken path can do.

Looking forward to more activities on the Wcml.

Is this activity still available on UKTS (can't see it listed with the Warrington activities) and, more importantly, is it v2 compliant?
