I hope the sounds, sound as good as the jinty/ L&Y engines did on the livestream, should be a wonderful addition to railworks, will fit in practically everywhere, shunting, freight, preservation...

Ahh recording on Sunday didn't go too well! :(

The chuff sounds sadly weren't very clear. The icy weather probably didn't help, going slowly.

Hopefully Edward can get some better recordings, he's better then anything I can do anyway!

Cheers,
Mike

you ought to get 92212 on your team haha, all 3 of you and you would be the beans. Sad news about the recordings, i feel moorbarrow's chuffs dont sound too good, they arent really realistic compared with edwards and matts. All of you together would make a good quality team producing many excellent addons

If you call the Peak Rail office you should be able to arrange to make recordings before services start (for a donation), ie light engine (no ejector on) up and down the yard or if you fancy a go of the regulator book a footplate experience at the same time :)

I used to fire at Peak Rail and can't remember the ejectors being overly loud but that was from the footplate and I guess you were recording close to the chimney.

If you want sounds of one of these at full reg, get in touch with the guys at the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway, I Dont volunteer there anymore but I know they love to thrash the hell out of the engines :P (I might have done it myself once or twice :P)
