What do you think it might be when finished, pay or free?

Just wondering.

Looking good.

I did a bit of digging, and the mods to some of the later ones are rather interesting. These included a variation of the Porta's Gas Producer Combustion System and a mechanical stoker were fitted to a number of them - more than a different shaped chimney! I knew there were some geisels but I didnt know about this.

http://www.martynbane.co.uk/modernsteam ... terity.htm has some info.

Looking great! I love Austerities, they seem to have a lot of character and are good strong locos!

I would love to see this livery on it http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3337/3562 ... 5d91_b.jpg

Although whilst it visited the GWSR, it earnt itself a rather derogatory nickname; something to do with the colour of the loco!

Dan
The Steam Locomotive. No other mechanical contrivance devised by man could arouse such praise one minute, derogatory the next.

Remember having that at the ELR when it was in undercoat, then when it came back from painting in the livery pictured. Now there is Sapper from IIRC the Dean Forest running the services.

Great work so far, I fireone of these at Haverthwaite so I look forward to seeing how the RW version compares, especially in the fireing aspects.

We would like to hear your opinions on which liveries you would like to be included in the upcoming Hunslet 0-6-0st addon.

To do this we would like you to fill out this form.
http://www.meshtools.co.uk/#/j94-vote/4559518987

Have the title as the name of the livery you would like, for example "BSC Corby Steel and Ironworks J94". Then in the description below tell us a bit about the livery and include a link to a photograph or upload one. The results will be announced on Saturday the 21st of January and the top five Liveries which are most popular will be included in the addon.

We must ask you to only vote once, so that that the results are not skewed. We must also ask you to have a maximum of 2 liveries choices, so chose you favourite liveries wisely, any livery can be chosen from that nice looking NCB livery to 132 Sapper, anything goes.

Thanks for your time
Edward

Using the above link, it would seem that you cannot enter your e-mail address, perhaps you can have a look.

Sounds like a challenge! We'll see what we can do anyway. :)

Thanks for all comments and those who shared information! :)

Just a basic livery to start of with. :)

Needs black paint job, BR emblem and BR numbers, doesn't feel right otherwise :)

You can also save yourself alot of hassle and livery numbers by making it easy to reskin, as there will be a fair few who will want to give it many different colliery colours and weathering in the community.

A very nice paint scheme there that could be made into this -

At least we have the line to run it on, whatever its guise these days.
