Creating stopping points in scenarios

Post by pdloose »

Hi guys

First of all merry christmas to everyone and a happy new year.

I am quite experienced at making scenarios and enjoy doing so after teaching myself using trial and error.

I am however struggling to implement my own custom stopping points for use by player train and AI e.g. I want a train to stop at a certain point that isnt a default stopping point. In the scenario editor i select the stopping point , place it and draw out the yellow line to show where i want the stopping point to be, then name it (e.g. AI stopping point) and tick the box in the right hand corner next to the XYZ co-ordinates but when i try to set a service to stop there i cant see it come up.

Am i doing something wrong

Many thanks
Paul

You can select the Stopping point in the "new" Scenario Editor (How to use please look at Manuals/RW Timetable View Manual_Web.pdf).
Create a Stopat or so and select the "Stoppingpoint@Track1" in the pulldown list of the line with the blue cube. See the manual Item 4.1 the line marked with a.

Hi Paul - a Stopping Point marker should be placed on top of a siding, destination or platform marker to specify a particular location along the marker that you wish your service to stop at; the instruction will then appear as (e.g) Stopping Point 1 @ Siding 1 in the timetable view
