Being delayed by getting looped - can it work?

Post by tubemad »

Hello all,

I have had an idea for one scenario (when I have finished this 2nd one off), I want to be put into a loop to allow a faster train to pass that is late (me being the stopper) so this will delay the stopper by a couple of minutes. Is it possible to actually be late at the next station but still pass the scenario for it?

I was going to use the real passenger timings for it, but if you are going to be late every time and RW fails you every time for being a minute or two late and thus not successfully calling at the station, then I will have to re-jig the times so that you are 'on-time' but in reality late anyway....if that makes sense?

Just I don't want to have an activity where you are always going to fail, because you failed to live up to a Japanese style rule where you must be on time on a FGW service...that doesn't add up for GW  !

Cheers,

James.

Just don't tick the timetable option for any stations you expect to arrive late at :).
