Hi,
So, I've created a scenario and run it a few times, but now when I attempt to start it I get a caption reading 'Locomotive ran out of fuel'. I've been into Scenario Editor double clicked on the loco, and made sure it was 100% full. Saved again, come out of Rw completely, gone back in, and on attempting to start the scenario again I get the same message!
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers,
Geoff

To state perhaps the obvious Geoff, you are sure that its the "Player" Loco that you are checking that fuel is 100%, have you tried checking other AI Loco's in the Scenario that you have used that they have fuel, just a thought.

Re: Locomotive ran out of fuel
Hi Rob,
Well, first of all, I must say that I assumed the message only related to the player train, so I went back into editor but before I was about to fly the route and check the AI trains the realisation hit me that although I had checked my player train, I had overlooked the fact that as it happens to be a Class 150 that I should have checked the rear car as well! Sure enough it was empty!! You live and learn, but I must say I still don't understand why the scenario has worked OK up to today! I guess overnight some dastardly so and so's have siphoned out the tanks!
Anyway, we're up and running again now, and thanks for the suggestion.
Cheers,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,
Glad to hear that you are all sorted out now, RW3 is a strange Simulator at times and quite a challenge, but for me that's what makes it so interesting (well sometimes

Even so, I think this is worth reporting to RSC because a 150 should be able to continue with only one car out of fuel.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

Hi Kromaatikse
Yes, I think you're right, I will do. What puzzled me was that I had run the scenario on several occasions before this happened!
I'll report back on here any outcome.
Cheers,
Geoff
