WCML North Weather Options in Other Routes

The new sky effects in the updated WCML North Route are very impressive. I would like to achieve the same sky/weather optiond into the Bristol to Exeter Route. Is it possible to do this?

I will have a look - I've found the files under assets/keithmross but the reference to them in the blueprints eludes me at the moment, but its been a long week.

Yes it is.

For any route, go into the World Editor, select keithmross from the list of Asset Providers and place any WCML object in the route (somewhere inconspicuous). Save the route modifications and exit RW. This process has ammeded the routeproperties file such that the route will now automatically load up keithmross assets when the route loads.

Next, using RWTools or other, navigate to Author\Product\TemplateRoutes and open the route blueprint.bin file. Find the section <skies> and change each of the entries for the season to read:

						</iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
					</SpringSkyBlueprint>

Save the file. Clear the blueprint cache and start RW.

Followed your excellent instructions and now have realistic skies in Bristol to Exeter Route. Makes eveything look so much better, almost like being there!! Is that sad or do we need to get a life! Waving at the cars along the M5.
