Freight train classes
Why dont more scenario authours include the train class in their briefing so we would all know what speed to run? I think we could take a leaf out of fastlines approach to writing scenario briefings.

Re: Freight train classes
Quite possibly, they don't know about freight trains' classes and the different speed limits they impose.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

Re: Freight train classes
That's easilly solved. Here for the various classes. http://www.uksteam.info/gwr/hcodes.htm And here for the relevant speeds. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_repo ... in_classes It should also be noted that the old class 9 unfitted freight trains were limited to 25 mph.Kromaatikse wrote:Quite possibly, they don't know about freight trains' classes and the different speed limits they impose.
