Hi
I have started to create a few scenarios. What does handle off path, when checked, do?

Re: Handle off path
Hi
The dispatcher will normally work out the 'best' route for a player train in a scenario to get from the starting point to the destination. Leaving this box unticked means that the player can deviate from the path calculated by the dispatcher without ending the scenario. Conversely, ticking the box means that the player must follow the exact path worked out by the dispatcher otherwise the scenario ends.
I have always though that the logic was wrong here and that ticking the box should allow the player to deviate their path without penalty, but it is fact the other way around.

I think the logic is fine, it's only really in exceptional circumstances that you'll ever need it.
