I'm still not that proficient at scenario creating but I am getting better, however on my latest try on the Falmouth route I am getting a bit annoyed by the fact that every signal seems to be permanently at clear whenever I arrive anywhere (most notably arrival at Truro right at the end). This is bugging me a bit as it looks really odd.
This is the scenario http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 2&t=119726
I'm wondering if I need to run early services through this section of line to see if they trigger the signals returning to danger. What do the "experts" on here think?
Thanks

Re: All Signals at Clear?
Hi David. I have noticed the same thing lately with Stuart's Western Rails and my own Abingdon Branch, both of which use the same signal set. I can't honestly say whether this is something that has crept in with RW3 or if it's a long standing issue. Running a train through the signals should reset them from what I've seen so far

Re: All Signals at Clear?
Aplogies to all if these signals are not operating correctly in RW3, they were constructed for RS and the information panel for the signal kit in the file library does state that there is no guarantee that the signals will operate correctly in RW2. No problems related to RW2 have been reported to date, so this would appear to be something to do with RW3.

Re: All Signals at Clear?
You have nothing to apologise for in my opinion John, the versatility of your signals more than makes up for any minor glitches that have crept in as RW has been updated, and despite originally being built for MSTS I think they're visually still very attractive

Re: All Signals at Clear?
John I agree with Steve. You have absolutely nothing to apologise about and, instead, we have plenty to thank you for. (The signals look great on the Falmouth GWR route by the way).
I hadn't thought that this might be a RW3 thing and just hoped that it might be something obvious that I'g got wrong (or a limitation of the sim on general).
If, at some point, it could be looked in to then great however, if not, then no worries from me.
Regards

Re: All Signals at Clear?
The signals on the DLC Falmouth are pretty buggy at the moment also, more so than RW2, so I'm not sure it's a particular issue with John's kit - admittedly the defaults seem to get stuck on rather than off rather randomly. Derek mentioned a few more core updates due before christmas, so I'm of two minds whether it's worth attempting to debug or not when it might be a core issue rather than some new scripting quirk.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.
Re: All Signals at Clear?
Hi - I have found they are setting themselves back to danger as soon as the loco has passed rather than the last carriage rather than the all set to clear. Guess it is a TS2012 thing that hopefully will be sorted at some point but for now I will put it down to an over enthusiastic signalman.
