In the 1980's of course, there were nearly 3 times as many Freightliner terminals operating, and associated Dock companies who provided heavy crane container lifting, and 90% of services were long distance, which is what the company was all about, overnight services from ports and docks to cities up and down the country, Coatbridge to Southampton Maritime could take up to 14-15 hours to run, as they had to fit in changes of locomotives from diesel to electric and back to diesel and train crew hours.
In the 1980s we had no channel tunnel though. Also we probably still actually exported things!

I have edited the PCA main texture to have a near-black alpha channel as it's rather shiny as standard, otherwise not felt the urge to fiddle with anything.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

A nice pack - the only thing I am not so keen on are the buffers which are pretty angular - but you rarely see them end on anyway

the additional OTA is very nice though :) - standalone too...

I had a read of the manual available on DT's webbie and note that they have been unable to use branding on some of the vehicles...? One of them is obviously the "Procor" logo on the PVAs

... but what about the SSA? Maybe this one:

All of them could benefit with some scabbied-up, minging versions, mind :)

They appear to be quite nice models -- and heaven knows we need more wagons! -- but in terms of value for money, we've been a bit spoiled by the variety that Fastline have given us, particularly with their last offering.

Cheers, Rik.

Kind of Ironic that the free version is what became the standard end style, the earlier ones in the payware pack were modified to conform with these, but were easily identifiable afterwards from the end. The freeware style consequently has a longer period of use and potential for reskinning.

With the screenshot further up the page showing the buffers it also shows the modeler has added a Vac pipe and Steam heat pipe but no Air pipes on Air braked stock, regarding the price it's a bit expensive compared to Fastlines pocket money prices. I'll hold off on this one for now.
