Route Template

Post by btvboxer »

Hi

I got a problem and look for help. I followed the instructions in the tutorial on route templates. When I loaded my route, the ground was the same as in asset editor (grid). Later I did what is on the tutorial again and this time the screen in World Editor has gone black, the only thing that was normal was the editing tools on the left. :(

Thanks

Hi

9 out of ten times this is because the terrain path has been set up using RailSimulatorCore instead of RailSimulator. Carefully check out the blueprint image and make sure that the wording in your blueprint exactly matches that in the blueprint image.

HI

The image is too small for me to read and I cannot find the image when I follow the link. Could you put up a larger image please.

Hi

In the Summer section you have spelt RailSimulatorCore incorrectly.

This might be enough to stop the template forming correctly as the route usually starts up in summer mode.

Excellent

This is a good illustration as to how careful we need to be when writing paths into blueprints. I have looked at a blueprint for hours in the past and still not noticed a small mistake.

*Sigh*

If it's so crucial to get the spelling etc correct yet it doesn't tell you you've got it wrong, why oh why can't you just paste bits as you go along? Or have I missed a trick?

How can you do that then if not by highlight and right-click?

Told you I'd missed something.
