I personally, like to listen to some Beatles when route building. Especially the white album (just remember to remove revolution 9 from the playlist!)

thanks,

Since RW 3 was released I have been playing I just can't be happy today by the Damned. Wagners Death March or Mozart's Introitus: Requiem Aeternam also seem appropriate. :( If I was able to continue Route Building the tune might be a different one.
Kind regards James.

When route/asset building/making I listen to Street Sounds Electro.

Electro 5 is a personal fav.

When playing RW, the only music I wish to hear is that of the engine, the wheels against the rails, horns, etc. In old GW territory, there's a phrase for the engine sounds: Maybach Music!

For messing around with files, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon does very nicely!

I don't listen to music whilst driving because I want to hear the sounds, turned up nice and loud! But, if route building or scenario creating, my usual choice is something from the 60's. My favourite groups are 'The Shadows' and 'The Hollies'! But I'll listen to anything melodious!

Some movie themes are pretty good to, master and commander's ending theme is nice when you rattling along in a kettle in the hills:

Haven't listened to anything but the game sounds, but if I did I suppose it would be anything from Baroque to opera, maybe Loreena KcKennitt's Celtic harp, game music by Jeremy Soule, to Foo Fighters and The Who. :)

Kind regards,
Dave
