Agreed but that's a constraint of the TS2012 model for those types of traction and the cab view movement should be designed to take it into account.

Adding exceptions tends to come back and bite you later, in a long-lasting project; I suspect with all the oddness with couplings and stock suddenly flying into motion that whoever is trying to keep the physics engine going is cursing the original team for patching stuff together as much as those of us who're trying to work with it :P so no, I don't think the camera should have special rules for starting & stopping, go fix the underlying cause and everything else corrects itself. Until that happens I'm happy to try and tune what's there a bit.

If you imagine the driver standing up then the default head movement makes a lot more sense; now we just need to adjust it so we have a very short driver!

I see your point and agree to an extent. However as any changes to the underlying physics models have been so slow in coming, as yet non-existent as far as I can see, I thought there would be more likelihood of getting a brand new feature tuned to accommodate the deficiencies than holding out for any update to the longstanding issues that underlie the problem.
