RW3 - Expert Mode

Post by adam3544 »

There are some scenarios requiring Expert Mode Only.
Unfortunately, I don't find this option anywhere in the new RW3.
Thanks.

Options-Gameplay - untick Simple Controls. Then you are in the expert mode.
I think this should be descriped in the Manuals.

I have this setup but driving Class 86 is impossible, because in RW3 only simple mode is available on this loco.
Another bug.
Thanks Stefan.

The Class 86 works. I've just been driving it. Are you sure the Simple Controls box is not ticked?

Yes, you're right. It works, but what a low frame rate. There are places when it drops down to 9 !!!, but usually it's around 25 with drops to 11 FPS. Is ECML optimized for the new graphics engine. Also, I found only one scenario in the list for Class 86.

Cheers,

WCML-N is still on the old version AFAIK. An update to it is expected at some point which should improve it's performance and slightly extend the area it covers.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.
