The future of RW oriented GR is now on line at: virtual Railroads (http://www.virtual-railroads.de).
Each piece of rolling stock can now be bought separately which frankly is fantastic!

Re: virtual Railroads
Thanks for the heads-up.
I agree it's quite a shrewd move by Ulf to offer each item in isolation as it gives people a greater choice.
Anyone know if there's any difference between the ICE offered by VR and the one that was created for RSC?
Rik.

Re: virtual Railroads
Hi,
I for one don't know anything about the ICE versions unfortunately, if there are any at all, because I always purchase locomotives and cars.

The ICE 1 formely offered by German Railroads (not RSC!) and now offered by VR, no difference --> payware.Wikkus wrote: Anyone know if there's any difference between the ICE offered by VR and the one that was created for RSC?

There is an ICE 3 avialable as freeware: http://rail-sim.de/railsimnew/index.php ... 3-alpha-06
designed for Railsimulator, but running in RW too.

Re: virtual Railroads
The VR ICE has dynamic numbering, and free scenarios will be provided in the near future. I believe that the folder paths are different so they cannot substitute in each others scenarios without some editing.
At the moment there is a special reduction for some ballast wagons for which the first scenarios have become available.

Re: virtual Railroads
Update: The vR-ICE to be found here: http://virtual-railroads.de/shop/articl ... 25-2011%26 has no dynamic numbering till today. So the GR-, the RSC- and the vR- ICE have no technical difference. I hope they have the same folder structure and will not cause problems with scenario creation.StefanSchmidt wrote: The ICE 1 formely offered by German Railroads (not RSC!) and now offered by VR, no difference --> payware.

A special price at the moment for the Taehms 888, which now also has scenarios available, Euro 2.95. It seems that as scenarios are being made available a special price is introduced for a few days
