Maybe in a BTC video?
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

The Australian XA class were mechanically similar, and XA1401 is preserved and has been active. There's a video but it's a double header: however, near the end do I detect a hint of the two-stroke 'vroom' in there?

Definitely a 'vvvrroom', if it is two-stroke I don't knowjp4712 wrote:.... near the end do I detect a hint of the two-stroke 'vroom' in there?
'Why is it that the railway station is so far away from the village?'
The local pauses for a while, then replies:
'They thought it would be a good idea to build it next to the railway line.....'

Are there any plans for a Class 185 unit in RW3?

Does nobody have any thoughts or news of a FTPE Class 185 unit.
This would complete the compliment of DMUs.

I wish some kind person would build Thumper Units (205/207) & Hastings Units.
Also, a Class 150 Sprinter in both Sealed End & Corridor Connection variation would be nice.

I was wondering what had happened to the 28. Was positive that I'd seen it in some of my Dad's photos. Glad to know it's still around. Wouldn't mind seeing/hearing it myself someday!ashgray wrote: Hopefully Chris Baily's team will have an answer to this before too long if they can get D5705 up and running.
