Scrap Metal Laws

Post by jimmyladd »

Due to the massive increase in scrap metal thefts, and the fact that the laws governing scrap metal are nearly 50 years old what is desperately needed is a change to the law to make it much harder to sell stolen metal. Please sign this petition urging the goverment to alter the law. Please pass on this petition to everybody you know. We need it to be massive to make the government to finally sit up and listen.

Good morning
Some members will recall that I caught a so and so stealing grid irons whilst walking Emma
I agree that tough legislation is required and also that scrap dealers need to be tightly controlled
It seems they are incapable of policing themselves
Kind regards Stephen
