Very good and I don't think it really matters a hoot which loco/route was chosen for the demo!

Awesome stuff. This is looking promising. Liked the fact the other loco's (once you'd turned the wipers on) looked 'wetter' - what happened at the end - going into the dry?
Can't wait for vid #2 already.

Purple rain? Wouldn't that be First livery?

Purple Rain?..... when we're talking about rain, we're really 4 months too early for a proper song.

That rain looks great! Reminded me of the rain on your pilots goggles in Rise of Flight. I'll need a conductor or someone else in the cab to keep me awake as I get mesmerized by the wipers, especially if the snow effects are as good.

Opens all manner of possibilities... any chance of a twister while we're driving through the Midwest? It could even randomly drop tin men, scarecrows and lions

That was a nasty little tease.
And what was with the American voice over?
Does it not rain constantly for three months in California?
Does it never rain in Britain the other side of Manchester?
And what about the rain that only the Spanish weather can provide?
I am still holding on to my umbrella. That little teaser did not blow me away.

The value of your investments may go up as well as down.

I thought it was a cracking teaser vid and couldn't give a stuff whether they used a US loco, a British loco or a flippin' milkfloat...

Re: Rain forecast..... 7pm tonight!
I'm impressed by the video, it looks really awesome. I think a lot of us here would now like to see the same sort of setting, but at great speeds. Maybe and HST of Oxford-Paddington, doing about 90mph, because we all know, rain looks very different at speed from light drizzle to heavy showers... Also, would rain have any effect on ground textures? Like it is when it rains, the trackbed looks darker than usual, and shiny in certain conditions...

Believe it or not, the world doesn't end at Dover. Many people, myself included, are interested in the railways of other countries. Why be restricted to the UK?RW2011 wrote:Just watched it on FB, what was wrong with using a UK loco and route ?
Best wishes,
