Animating Steam Train Wheels and rods.

Post by jpetersjr2 »

Hello all. I am building a American camelback steam locomotive for Railworks that I will later host at my website. Except I don't currently know how to animate on 3D Crafter 8.2

What would be the easiest way to animate your wheels and rods and then later your cab controls.

Sincerely jpetersjr2

Hi

I can only fund this tutorial which might help but it seems it was for Canvas and has not been updated for Crafter -

Will that animation process work for Railworks. I will be animating it to work in Railworks, not MSTS.

I don't really know but I cannot see that the process of animation in 3DC is any different for any simulator. There may be differences in the hierarchy for RailWorks though.

This tutorial should help if you have not seen it already. It is for Rail Simulator but the process will be similar for RailWorks -
