DLC not visible when placed on track.

Hi folks,

Whilst I don't consider myself a beginner, this being the main help thread, my enquiry is going here.

Basically, I downloaded a couple of UKTS skins for the Class 156. The FSR and SPT ones to be precise. When attempting to place them into a scenario, the units are not visible with the exception of the couplers. I have tried clearing the blueprint cache, re installed the add ons and such, but still having problems. Not only this, but when attempting to place the units onto the track, this causes Railworks to freeze, and I get the old 'en error occured' message.

I was fairly sure that stock being invisible when placed on the track was a common problem, yet I cannot find any other topics on the matter. Forgive me if this has already been covered, but I've spent half an hour looking for the solution and of yet, no luck.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Dougie

My guess is you haven't installed the reskins properly.
More often than not, when you install a reskin for an add-on Loco or Multiple Unit you will need to copy and paste the model's '.GeoPcDx' file.

Quote from the SPT reskin's download page
"Copy the files: Class156_DMS.GEoPcDx and Class156_DMSL.GeoPcDx

From: /assets/Oovee/BRClass156Pack01/RailVehicles/Diesel/BRClass156/Express/

And Paste them into

/assets/Oovee/BRClass156Pack01/RailVehicles/Diesel/BRClass156/SPT/"
