Can't get 4 SUB to move

Post by jimmychoo »

I've downloaded Richard's excellent 4 SUB EMU but I can't seem to get it to move. I've released the brakes (inc. handbrake), put the reverser to forward and notched the throttle at 25% but nothing happens-I just get the motor whine. I've gone over the instructions a few times but I can't see what I'm doing wrong. Could anybody assist please?

Are you running it with simple controls on? The more scripted RW models sometimes don't like that.

Otherwise what your doing sounds OK.

Hi,
I know this is basic and fundamental but you do have it sitting on Electric track?
been there done that, ended up having to get a diesel to tow the consist away.
Was more fun that just deleting it :D

I have Expert mode on, but I have to admit I have it on a non electrified siding at the moment to try it out without realising it - DOH! I'll give it a try tonight and see what happens.

Thanks very much for your help guys. The problem was not being on electric track. I put it on the Leafy Suburbs route and it works fine now. How embarrasing!
