If you want some help then being civilised might yield more than ranting about being ripped off.

The install is indeed a 1 click installation (well 2 if you want to read the readme first). Apart from confirming the destination directory there is nothing else to do unlike other community CDs where you had to go through 3 or 4 options to load first the route and then the stock etc.

All the stock for the activities is included - I ran the install and then put it through Route-Riter and nothing is missing.

The cyclic redundancy error means one of two things - either your DVD is a bad burn or your DVD drive has a problem. Are you getting CRC errors on other DVDs ?

You could try creating a folder on your desktop and copying the entire DVD into it. Then run the "autorun.exe" in that folder rather than the DVD. If you can't read the DVD to copy onto your hard drive then contact support@atomic-systems.com for assistance and Pete will no doubt check you have done all the above then ship you a replacement DVD.
Kindest regards

Indeed looking at all the wonderful screen shots in this thread : http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=115973 it is obvious to everyone that you've been ripped off !

Or of course maybe not and you need to take a deep breath, relax and start again from the beginning properly. You might then come across as someone people might want to help enjoy what is clearly an impressive bit of work.

Support here is wonderful about helping with bad disks they happen for any series of burning, i get them maybe once in 15 when i do my research here. So please dont let challenges bother you too much.

It is a superb route, truly one of the best I have ever studied and driven...and worthy of any and all effort ...truly Clive had created a masterpiece and one that is a joy to drive and enjoy. Hopefully your problems will be solved soon and you can join us on the S & D.

The S&D Route is excellent - don't give up just yet :)

Hi tguppy5,
If you don't have the same errors being reported by other DVDs or CDs, the first thing I suggest you do is to clean the disk. I know you've only just got it, but it could have got finger marks on it from yourself or others whilst it was being handled.

Cheers,
Ged

It should be - the route on DVD is a miniroute because it is has MSTSbin included at the correct level for the route and stock.
