Stanier Ex LMS Coaches

Post by steamnut44 »

First let me congratulate Clive's latest upload, for giving us old MSTS die hard's, some really nice sets of ex LMS coaches. :D :D :D
It would be nice if Clive was willing to let these sets of coaches be used for the forthcoming Scottish Central Plus Route, in leiu of the LMS P3 coaches that we have in the trainset at the moment. Together with Dave's LNER Gresley & Thompson sets which were specially made for the SCP. These Stanier ex LMS coaches would be ideal for adding to the stock pack. It might mean changing the passenger consists that have used the P3 coaches for activities already completed for this route, but I'm sure this would not cause to much hassle. What does Clive think and what do the rest of the SCP team think? Would these be better than using the P3 coaches.
Please voice your comments here. MSTS is still full of surprises! :D :D :D

These are great looking coaches. David Ball's sets are good, but they are just a bit dated.

Cheers

Glad you agree Mick. See what Don thinks and if he agrees, then let's add them to the trainset and delete the P3s. Subject of course to Clive's approval. :D

Hi Geoff and Mick

Just spotted the post. Don't come to this area very often.

Glad your intending to use them. There isn't probably much else i've uploaded that would be useful on your route but everything of mine is now on the 'free to use without asking permission' basis although sometimes the 'read-mes' don't say that.

I decided on this way after the frustrations with the S & D where no one actually refused anything but some people just couldn't be contacted. I have no plans to disappear in the near future :) , but you never know.

cheers
