Looks to me like just the camera angle, I've noticed on several occasions over the years that some screenshots look distorted to my eye.
I always try to use key 4 and freeze the cameral with CTRL+SHIF+9 if needed.
Even using OR I've seen the distortiion, ( check out the two variations of the 101 at Betws-y-coed here ):

Hi There,

If it is based on Mark Shipmans model, it is a pretty good model anyway and hasn't had a freshen up for a long while.
I was planning to place 4 of Marks Green models into Scottish Central Plus.

Check the bounding box, I have had to alter them a little as the boxes were too short.

Coming together nicely Steve. :P
Not only MSTS, it'll be nice to see how it shapes up in OR.

Bit of spit & polish and a lot of help from Jon Bilton with this one. :P

Hi Steve,

Can I request that you walk us through the steps in finishing. Where do you get the necessary embelishments from, how do you match the rail blue, how do you weather and finally how do you tie it all together to release. It's still all a mystery to me!

Cheers, and I hope it's not too much bother.
