I have asked Kevin, and I shall be doing the reskins for both the BR black model of No.4 and also the GWR green liveried version. This along with the Corris and the Talyllyn models (not to mention the Thomas one) will make 5 new engines to play with!!!
As far as I know there are no stablility problems with this engine. (Pitley-falley and John know this engine better then myself and might like to comment).
I think Mr Pitley-Falley is going to attempt the Black version.
Never painted either Gwr green or BR black however the TR did a what if? and painted it in both guises to see what it would look like.
No stability problems that I know about. The loco isnt really all that high, it just looks a bit top heavy. It has a very small boiler which makes everything look bigger, and this gives it one of its only faults (namley that the water dissapears in the glass PDQ) She also has a reputation for priming easily unlike something like No.1 where the injector will cut out before the boiler fills!
Ohh Rhydyronen!!! Cheers John, that will be great to do reskins from! Wonderfull source guide Would have been nice to see 3 in that guise aswell! Double heading would have looked wonderfull!!
