I assume you've received all products you've paid for. So, where does this entitlement come from?

Well, I haven't. I bought a Class 67 which was advertised as having a functional train length button, except it doesn't work, and the speedometer is defective. The patch was mentioned as not quite making it out by friday on twitter the following week after the 67 release, and since then, I believe it's gone silent. I'm still waiting for a run-down notch position on my WCML Class 86, ideally along with the more realistic starting physics that grace the Class86 add-on pack.

My personal opinion is that RSC need to adjust their attitude/commitment to providing support and patch/bug fixes, as I'm losing/lost faith that the outstanding issues with various content will be addressed in a timely manner. I've decided to pass on quite a bit of DLC recently whilst waiting for my existing content to fixed.

Then you're certainly entitled to ask for fixes, and if it really is unfit for purpose or whatever the term describing something that's not what you've paid for then I guess a refund, if consumer law covers that - but you gave them money for a 67 or whatever, not knowledge of future development plans which is what this was about. I too am waiting for most of the patches you talked about, but I don't feel I can demand to know how many kilos of biscuits they all consumed this week and then demand they spend less time eating & more time fixing...

I think it's better to call it "RSC's bottleneck". I understand when they are giving higher priority to new releases and products to sell, but if buy something and it comes with some minor bugs, then, i want a fix. Maybe soon, but again, they're with a lot of work.

Sure, i'm a little dissapointed in the way they treat and solve this "troubles", but the bugs are not so terrible and i can play normaly. The only i need from them is to be more open about information related to releases and bug fixes to be sure someday we'll get the updates.

OK chaps, I see we've had a reported post - let's please ensure that we stay on-topic and that any responses are reasonable. Bottom line is that while anyone may ask RSC what their plans are, the fact that people may have purchased their products does not convey any entitlement to an answer. RSC's business plan is their concern and I'm sure they will communicate any part of it that they decide should be made public, just as soon as they deem appropriate. Sure, it's only natural to want to know what's one the drawing board and when it might updates might be released but pushing them is unlikely to speed that up.

From what i have seen so far, RS.com will announce news of current affairs when things are sorted - obviously with unforseen problems, take time to sort (class 67 as so forth).

My question to RS.com - Not all of us frequent social networking sites_ Is it possible to have a simple / text or Html Email - like the newsletter sent to all users periodically - for any new information on unforseen problems progress - especially for Railworks users in more sensitive business / industrial envoironments, that deter social networking for security reasons?

A good idea from Charles here. I do not frequent Facebook at all.
It would also be good for business IMHO if rectification of faults on released DLC where expedited in a more timely fashion. Just a thought.
